Coastal Welding Supply, a Beaumont, Texas, family owned, second generation business was one of the 20 local businesses to receive the Texas Treasure Business Award from Beaumont Main Street. Railroad Trains Safe Handling of Alternative Fuels at Coastal Welding Supply

Charlie Esparza, an instructor in the Alternative Energy Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas, conducted a safety class at Coastal Welding Supply’s training facility and 50,000 sq. ft. fill plant in Beaumont, TX. Attendees included people who handle propane, including those who own stores, RV parks, employees of hardware stores, and other distributors. Some drove 100 miles to attend this one-day training.
